The “2023 LCA calculation values” have been integrated into the freely available eLCA, but to the exclusion of any other QNG functions. Hence, applicants will be required to make use of other calculation tools such as Excel for performing their QNG calculations with eLCA. This does not affect the use of eLCA for the Assessment
The latest version of the licence agreement for the use of the QNG was published on 20 June 2023. This version includes a condition precedent, which means that it is now possible to sign it at an earlier stage. The new version of the agreement is available here.
The ‘Life cycle assessment calculation values’ table for QNG life cycle assessments was published and made mandatory for QNG verification on 1 March 2023 alongside the introduction of the Climate-Friendly New Builds scheme (KFN). The KFN new-build subsidy programme covers both a basic subsidy fund for non-QNG-certified and a QNG subsidy fund for QNG-certified buildings.
The calculation values table will be updated on 16.05.2023. The updated version includes corrections to some of the datasets. The corrected datasets are shown as such in the table.
